Breakfast was hearty and absolutely superb, we really enjoyed the location of the place.

This accommodation had a central setting very near to the city centre. Lucky that it was not very far from Cafe Piccante, offering food to go...

The downtown is within 15 minutes' walk.

The breakfast I had was hearty with porridge and very gracious waitress and beverages.

Impeccably clean hotel, hearty and superb breakfast, the location is beautiful not far from the centre of town, and bus station and railway. The rooms are good-sized and brand-new and have nice views over park and water.

Came here for 1 day, the hotel was exceptional, it had unique location near bars and historical places and the green area of Edinburgh. Attentive staff, offered us wake up service and ironing. Food in the authentic restaurant was fabulous!

Breakfast options were limited and involved too much plastic waste. Friendly staff made my stay enjoyable. Spacious room with a lovely view.

This place suits me perfectly. Free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and in-room breakfast. I'll always remember how the staff returned my forgotten headphones. Highly recommend it for a relaxing city trip.

Unique Untidy Stay

Despite the quaint atmosphere, our spacious double room featured outdated decor. The staff were friendly, but breakfast lacked variety and quality. Make sure to check in early, as accessing luggage assistance was difficult.

The stay was quite pleasant as it provided a great balance of comfort and affordability. I particularly enjoyed the spacious room and the beautiful decor, which made it feel like home. The location was also a bonus, easily accessible to many attractions and the friendly staff contributed positively to the overall experience.

perfect base for sightseeing and park strolls

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at a charming manor house, beautifully decorated and just a short walk of less than a kilometer to both the Royal Mile and Holyrood Park, where I could soak up the gorgeous scenery and explore the city's history on foot, setting the stage for a lovely weekend of walking and discovery.

I enjoyed my stay with my family in a spacious room that had a lovely view of the park. The quiet atmosphere made it a nice getaway, even though it was close to the city center. We found the breakfast arrangements to be practical, great to have snacks ready for our outings. On one occasion, we had a great time exploring the nearby sights after breakfast.

The lack of a downstairs toilet was inconvenient, especially during meal times. The stairs were challenging, and the window wasn't easy to keep open due to its old frame.

The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of the garden. Compared to my previous stays in edinburgh, the warm and cute staff really made a difference.
